How is this assessed?
During the medical intake you indicate which medication you use. The doctor checks this via the national medical record exchange (LSP) and assesses whether there are any possible interactions or contraindications. If in doubt, the doctor will contact you via the medical chat before the prescription is issued.
Combining with weight loss medication (GLP-1)
Already using insulin or a sulfonylurea, or have you previously had pancreatitis? Always mention this during intake: it can affect whether GLP-1 medication is suitable for you. The doctor carefully assesses this before a prescription is issued.
